Giclée print, 10 x 17", 200 S/N limited edition prints.  Oncorhynchus gilae

This illustration was drawn from a museum specimen (stored in alcohol) collected in 1953 from

South Diamond Creek in New Mexico.  The color was taken from specimens I observed in the

Black Canyon population in New Mexico.  Mike Hatch and I visited that stream in the early 2000's

and because of the trout Endangered status were not allowed to keep a specimen.
